Actief als ortho-moleculair arts in cardio-vasculaire aandoeningen (chelatietherapie), complementaire kankertherapie, kankerpreventie, behandeling van chronische vermoeidheid en anti-aging. Spreker op talrijke conferenties in binnen- en buitenland over kankerpreventie, CVS en nutritionele therapieën. Geaccrediteerd arts (continue navorming klassieke geneeskunde) NLP ( neuro-linguistic-programming) practitioner 2004, master 2005.

Echtgenote van Dr. Proesmans, samen hebben zij 3 zonen. Zij verzorgt deeltijds het secretariaat en is verantwoordelijk voor het management en de logistiek. De schilderijen in de praktijk met als thema "fruit en groenten in de praktijk" zijn van haar hand.
